Important Update: SMS Sender ID(s) Successfully Registered for #HKCFP

We are pleased to inform you that the College has successfully applied for SMS Sender ID(s) with the prefix “#”.

This means that any official SMS communications from the College will now display a Sender ID starting with “#”, ensuring authenticity and helping you easily identify messages from us.

Official Sender IDs include:

• #HKCFP (general College communications)
• #HKCFPXYZ – where XYZ refers to specific events or activities. For example:
• #HKCFPCME (Continuing Medical Education)
• #HKCFPEXAM (Examination-related notices)
• #HKCFPHKPCC (Hong Kong Primary Care Conference)
  Please note: These examples are not exhaustive; other event-specific IDs may also be used.

Security Tip:
Please do not click on links from unknown senders or messages that do not carry the official “#HKCFP” prefix. If in doubt, verify through the College’s official website or contact our support team via admin@hkcfp.org.hk.

How to Verify the SMS Sender:
You can confirm the legitimacy of the Sender ID by checking the official registry on the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) website:

Simply enter the Sender ID (e.g., #HKCFP) in the search box to verify its registration.
