12WONCA EXPRESSMy journey from a young doctor%u2019s representative to a member at large in the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) has been a transformative experience, filled with collaborations, learning, and a deepened commitment to family medicine. Over the past two years, I have had the privilege to represent young doctors and advocate for our collective voice in the global arena. Milestones and Accomplishments During my tenure as a young doctor representative, I have achieved several significant milestones that reflect our commitment to improving family medicine. One of the highlights was collaborating with Interpol to conduct a series of cybersecurity training webinars. This initiative was crucial in addressing the increasing challenges posed by cyber threats in healthcare, ensuring that family doctors are equipped with the necessary tools to protect patient information and prevent cyber frauds.Additionally, the WONCA Young Doctors Movement (YDM) proudly launched the Prof. Donald Li YDM Global Scholarship to support young family doctors from lowand middle-income countries in attending WONCA world conferences. This scholarship is a vital initiative focused on promoting equity and equal opportunities in the field of family medicine. My vision includes building a robust support network for family doctors worldwide, where we can share resources, best practices, and innovative ideas.I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our college for their unwavering support, and all my senior colleagues and mentors for whose advice and encouragement have been instrumental in this election.
