                                    MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT2(Continued from page 1)(Continued on page 3)We have the great honour to have been able to invite Professor Bob MASH, Professor, Stellenbosch University in Family Medicine and Primary Care, South Africa and President of WONCA Africa to be the HKCFP Visiting Professor 2025 for the University of Hong Kong. Professor MASH is an established researcher, rated with the National Research Foundation, and an international member of the USA National Academy of Medicine. He is Editor-inChief of the African Journal of Primary Health Care and Family Medicine. He is also the editor of regional textbooks of family medicine, the Handbook of Family Medicine and the SA Family Practice Manual. He has also edited two WONCA books, How to do Primary Care Research and International Perspectives on Primary Care Research. Professor MASH gave an open lecture to our members online on %u201cGroup Empowerment for People with Type 2 Diabetes%u201d on 23 November 2025. The lecture was most inspiring.
